Bangalore FoodBank

Under the leadership of Mr. Shyam Mohan, President & MD of Griffith Laboratories Inc., India and Middle East, a core committee has been formed for the implementation of a Food Bank in Bangalore. The core committee is developing a financial and operational plan to ensure a sustainable implementation of the Food Bank.

The other members of the core committee are: Ms. Madhura M Chatrapathy, Trustee Director of ASCENT (Asian Centre for Entrepreneurial Initiatives), Ms. Vandana Singh, CEO of IFBN, Mr. Sanjay Thirumalai, CEO and MD of Grant Thornton, a public accountancy and advisory firm, Mr. Sreeram P. Founder and Director, Business Development for Frontal Rain, Mr. Sudhakar Thamankar, Head of Finance and Administration of Griffith Laboratories Bangalore, Ms. Meher S Dasondi, ex Head of HAFT of Sophia Polytechnic, Mumbai.

Bangalore Food Banking Initiative Launching on World Food Day

– In celebration of World Food Day on October 16, Griffith Laboratories, Worldwide Inc., and Griffith Laboratories Private Limited are excited to announce the inauguration and launch of The Bangalore Food Bank, located in Bangalore, India.

The Bangalore Food Bank, officially named “The Feeding Bangalore Foundation,” is sponsored by Griffith Laboratories, a United States-based developer and manufacturer of customized food ingredient systems. The new food bank is part of the India FoodBanking Network (IFBN), the India affiliate of The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN).

Home of Hope gets support from IFBN and Canara Bank

IFBN and Bangalore Food Bank visited "Home of Hope' in Bangalore which is looking after 450 destitute men, women and children. Canara Bank supported the feeding programme at the Home of Hope.
